Pecan & apple museli

This recipe makes 4 serves and contains about 20g of protein per serve. It is gluten, wheat and sugar free.

Ingredients

¼ cup flaxseed (linseed) meal
¾ cup almond meal
½ cup sunflower seeds
¼ cup unsweetened shredded coconut
½ cup chopped pecan nuts
¼ cup chopped walnuts
½ cup chopped dried apple
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 teaspoons vanilla essence
Xylitol (natural sweetener) to taste
Unsweetened soy or rice milk or natural yogurt

Method

Mix all dry ingredients together in a large bowl. These ingredients can be stored in the fridge in an air tight container for later use. To serve, measure one cup of mixture into a breakfast bowl and pour milk over mixture.
